2025 FedEx Cup Champion
The Story
Tommy Fleetwood is one of golf’s most beloved players — elegant, consistent, and impossible not to root for. For years, he was the nearly man. In August 2025, in his 164th PGA Tour start, he won the Tour Championship at East Lake and with it the FedEx Cup and a $10 million prize. The wait was over.
Tommy received his first GLM markers in 2021. He won the Nedbank Challenge with one in 2022. Then came Ryder Cup glory in 2023 and 2025, but a win on Tour was eluding him.
We all saw the incredible interview with is son Frankie at Augusta last year, “I’ve been practicing as hard as I can, Just not reaching it, but I’m just trying my hardest”.
Jon put “I’m just trying my hardest” on a few markers for Tommy and he started using them, a few months later was East Lake.
It was always just a matter of time, now he plans on contending frequently.
